Got a bit of word about Yaqeen runs tomorrow and is Dickie Hills
in the plate.  A lot of shrewdies seem to have backed it for the
classic in recent days.

nope, but after reading up on Scarlet Runner's performances last year the result of the Nell Gwynn was only a shock from a betting perspective.

First decent winner I've had in ages.....and glad I nicked the 50's on Betfair for the Guineas before the race.

she jumped out of the gate like a bullet and found herself in the lead early on, was soon headed by nina blini but sander camillo seemed to still be travelling well. scarlet runner was right up against the rail and also came to join the leading pair in the mid stages.
none of them looked particularly impressive in the final stages of the races and scarlet runner held on at the line, you'd have to wonder why sander camillo didn't kick on, maybe just given an easy ride. was difficult for me to see in the bookies as it was packed.
i definitely won't be having any on sander camillo in the guineas.

Although I've nabbed some good value on Scarlet Runner, I'm not convinced she (or Sander Camillo) are quick enough for this, and may lay off a bit closer to the day when the price contracts to single figures

Silk Blossom has been labelled a softish ground horse and the price is reflected in that, but I think this one represents the best of the big prices as she's run very well at Ascot and handled the dip well at Newmarket on her debut (on officially Good to Firm ground)

Finsceal Beo looks a better bet to me that Teofilo in the 2000 after his setback, I backed this filly before the Nell Gywn at 7/2.
