Its quiet in my work - some of my colleagues went out for drinks last night, and 2 of them have rung in sick today - pathetic!

Out for a meal tomorrow night and going to a BBQ sunday (weather permitting!), apart from that, just chilling out

Hey Jej, I was interested in going to that too - but because we can't park our car outside our flat ( ) it's up at my boyfriends parents and that's miles away - so in a word, we can't get there.

Mel, it's quiet in our work too - there's hardly anyone here - even though today is free Krispy Kreme doughnut day!! Oh well, guess I'll just have to plough through the boxes myself and feel very sick!!

I'm going for a meal tonight and tomorrow I have to fix a bed(don't ask) and then hope to go to Newmarket Races but may go and watch Wroxham(a local football team) play Woodbridge depending on how long it takes to fix the bed.

Jo,

Did you break your ankle before of after Jimbob's bed broke - or are they unrelated incidents?

Totally unrelated incident Sky!

I was celebrating Quito's win in the bookies and fell over on my ankle and I've only found out today that it's broken so it'll be a weekend of rest. I'm bored already.

Thanks Jej. It really hurts and I can't have the plaster put on until the swelling goes down. I'm gutted.

Bad luck Jo, you'll have to make sure you get lifted and laid over the weekend. You'll need a skivvy to run round for you, make sure they supply you with plenty of magazines and beer, and make sure the remote doesn't leave your side!

Jo,

Surely you must be able to sue the bookies???

Surely there's a law against allowing people to win from them!!

Hope it's better soon. I guess Quite will be running again before you do.

On Sunday, weather permitting I will be taking the short journey to Sheerness (on the Isle of Sheppy) and will be going to the annual Donkey Derby.

I made a killing last year by realsiing before the start which jockey would stay on her donkey the longest. I made about £30 and is probably the most succesful days racing I have ever had.

When we got home there was a message on our answerphone saying the missus had won £50 first prize in a draw.
