Tiger has won this event six times
1999
2000
2001
2005
2006
2007
Not a bad cv ,I think the above titles make it look a bit like Tiger dosent mind this course ,waste of time imho trying to look for the winner elsewere.if you dont think the 7/4 is value .even i do with the above figure ,see if Tiger starts slowly like last week when he was 5/1on betfair after day one before cruising to a three shot victory, the rest I feel are playing for place money this week.
Suggested bet
4pts Woods 7/4 bet365
1pt ew Stricker 40s hills,corals
1pt ew Westwood 33s lads,bet365

I find it tottally Illogical that you firmly believe Tiger will win, which there is no doubt he probaly will and 7/4 is reasonable on this course with his record, although would not touch it myself but why then place 1 pt win, 1 pt place on 2 other players as it is going against what you actually believe as 50% on those bets are being thrown away.
Why not use the other markets i.e betting w/o tiger, place bet w/o tiger or even Just top 5 & top 10.

Anyway I am with you and believe Tiger will win but also think as you obviously do Westwwod will be there abouts and as Tiger is 7/4 to win and Westwood Is 12/5> for a top 10 logically on what we both believe it is a no brainer

Yes Tiger is the obvious choice.

I've done Zach Johnson ew @ 40/1 (w/o Woods) & Appleby(7/1) & Glover (13/20) for top 10's.

Have more hope for V Taylor(25/1) & Brice Molder(33/1) in the Tahoe.

All about Woods this week. Back him every year at this course, so no point looking elsewhere.

The greatest sportsman in the world.

An easy win for Woods in the end and well done to the backers.

I still maintain Golf betting is an art and different to any other sports betting because of the various markets that are available be it bookies or Betfair.
There is no point in using one brush when you can use many to come up with a master piece

you wonder what would have happened without teh offiial intervening.....

and would he have done it if tiger had been the one in trouble on that hole?

meanwhile excellent shout YY to take westwood top 10 and tiger the win

now to start the debate; tiger is a ley this coming week imho....

Return 11pts stake =8pts profit 3pts
Take yaiyams point with too much stake on tthe two bar woods.but they did finish 6th and 9th ,stricker just one shot out of a place ,Westwood finished with a five under ,still feel he was the best player in the Open and should have won but a profits a profit ,will be thinking how to bet these two in this weeks major as they are both on top of their games.
Maybe Top usa for Sticker and best European or without Tiger market for Westwood.

I think they were both put on the clock. It just seems a bit petty when they are on the 70th hole of the event in the final group to put them on the clock.Surely a bit of common sense should have prevailed.Surprised at John Paramour.

Geordie,I've layed Tiger the last 2 weeks,he's won both events and I've still made a profit.Very rare he doesn't drift to a higher price at some stage.I'll be using the same starting tactic this week.

Was great to see the 2 players fighting it out last night.Padraig put it up to him and Tiger played some very scrappy golf for 6 or so holes on the back 9 but yet again he pulls out the dream shot when required. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened had Harro parred 16.
