I dont belive it ,says Victor Meldrew, yes victor its correct the champions league begins today with a first round qualifier between Maltese club Hibernians at home to FC Mogren of Montenegro,it might be early but the shredies are out early and boylesport have had to cut Mogren to 8/11 from 4/5.

Mogren does the biz for me with a 2-0 win ,a bit of a gamble has become on Andorran travellers Saint Julian to beat San Marino representatives SP Tre Flori  ,VS has took the 2.32 available on betfair.

Michael Owen anytime @ 2.56 for me tonight, pretty hefty wager, If It's announced he will start then will have some on FGS and a 1-0/2-0/2-1 scorecast.

Good work GG. I bet you some traders got spanked on betfair tonight with both Man Yoo and Athletico getting last minute equalizers.

Nice little return but when I saw he was starting had a bit on him fgs and am a bit seething he didn't put one of them 2 earlier chances away, but ah well, he's slowly but surely coming good. Hopefully he'll get a run in the team and prove to all the naysayers how good he still is, his movement and some of his distribution/awareness tonight was world class.

I'm on big (for me!!) on Lyon tonight - could not believe they are odds against so have snaffled up some of the 7/5.

Hi NGreggors,

Just wondering, were you at the Crewe game on Saturday? I know we won 4-0, and apparently played quite well, but the BBC highlights i saw, Cheltenham hit the woodwork 3 times and seemed to have a decent penalty shout turned down.

I'm guessing 4-0 maybe flattered us, but i was wondering what you thought of us compared to other teams - we have Dario back in charge, so hopefully we are trying to play football again!

Cheers

LC
