Here it is again ladys and gents, the most popular thread of them all! No fantasy, just real bets. Against each other.

This basically is a gentlemans agreement, so not written on blood, but if you have a bet with another poster and you lose, you pay, no questions. A few posters last year had bets and were never seen again!    Really sad if you ask me.

All bets at the Cheltenham Festival in March 2009, all match bets have to run to count. SO NON runner no bet. The bets are nearest to the post. If your selection falls, and the other persons stands up and gets further round the track and then falls you lose.

First Bet

Champion Hurdle
Owl of Minerva (Binocluar) vs David-uk (Katchit) £ 100.00

If I have forgotten anything please add it, thanks.

World Hurdle: I'd like to take Kasbah Bliss. Any Inglis Drever or Blazing Bailey fans fancy taking me on in a match bet?

I thought they have already said his intended target is the Albert Bartlett which the prices would certainly indicate.

Only a few bookies have him priced up for that race, where as all the bookies have him prominent for the ballymore. I suspect he will win any race he runs in, he is the best novice I have seen in a while.

Somehow I don't think you'll have much joy with that offer Owl.

But nice try!

That's what I meant by nice try mate - any takers before today's race would be squirming right now.
