Justwondering what type of films the board members are into,
I suppose it's a bit like books, Good Will Hunting is a film I really
liked, not into car chases abd explosions but like a humane story.
I always like a laugh and the Monty Pythons still get me going,
I like the old black & white films, they always seem timeless and
classy re: dress, smoking was fashionable etc,

There are quite a few films that I like and will watch again but if you are talking about a film that I would want to watch above the others then its the black and white version of Goodbye Mr Chips the acting is perfect the lead characters face so expressive and his acting very moving he portrays the character beautifully.

That's interesting Sern, my best mate's fav. film of all time is
Goodbye Mr. Chips closely followed by To Sir With Love,
when he has had a few, I have to hear it chapter and verse
usually once a week. A film I liked was In America now out
on dvd, it's about an aspiring irish actor and his wife and kids
struggling to make it in the states. It's a bit soppy and sentimental
in ways but there is a great underlying message of hope.
:P

You can't threaten me with a dead fish!!!!

Withnail & I is an absolute classic.

I agree with Quizman about the old B&W films as well. The Godfather Trilogy has to be up there but the three best films of all time have to be The Dollars Trilogy(with The Good The Bad & The Ugly beating the other two by a short head). Clint Eastwood as The Man With No Name is the coolest man on earth. I also like Once Upon A Time In The West Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

If you hadn't have already guessed I'm a bit of a Westerns nut!!

Another Withnail fan here as well! "I must have some booze, I demand to have some booze!".

I also rate highly:

Groundhog Day
Almost Famous
High Fidelity
Say Anything
Lost In Translation
Sleepy Hollow
