Thought id start this nice and early, im sure that Mikael D'haugent will come back and win, i have no idea what race but i think this horse has some potenital. I read alot that WM wouldnt risk him if the ground was wrong so when it stayed in i knew it was the one to bet. I also expect to see some good contenders from that triumph as it seemed a very good field!

Mikael D'Haguenet is the most exciting horse in a long time.  Has absolutely everything.  If he were mine he would be an Arkle horse next year and then Gold Cup in 2011.  If there were a market for the 2011 I would play - I was utterly impressed.  That was a serious serious field and make no mistake he put them to sleep.

I also think Weapons Amnesty today was very smart.  Idled in front but held the Nicholls horse comfortably really.  Probable stayers horse in time maybe even next year.

Go Native is unlikely to get the credit he deserved because of CV no show.  I am not sure personally CV would have beaten him if 100%, he travelled oh so well.  Would be a live champion hurdle outsider although it is very early.

No bets for me until at least March 2010 - Could someone remind me?

But I can't wait to see Cooldine and Mikael again - and just think where Willie Mullins might slot all those bumper runners in!

American Trilogy looked very good when taking apart a good field in the county, I would like to see him run next year in better class.

The mare Quevega looked exceptional aswell, she could indeed go to the Champion Hurdle.

Celestial Halo aswell looks a major player next year for the Champion Hurdle, I was very impressed with him.
