No thread for this?

Well there is now anyway

Just had my first bet in this - Robin Soderling WIN @ 25/1 (PP)

Just seems too big considering he has just knocked out Nadal and is now in the quarters on the opposite side of the draw to Federer

Hi Owl,

I didn't like to start a thread for this as I didn't think enough people were bothered about the tennis........

Only heard about Nadal being out from reading your post......I nearly dropped my cup of tea all over my computer!!

That's really opened things up now!

Your bet on Robin Soderling sounds good!

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to why the bookies haven't made Federer odds on ? Surely he should be, he has been the second best clay court player at the French Open for the past 3 years.

Backed Davydenko and Gonzo (please don't hate me   ) for this.

Fairly certain Fed wont bag a French Open (would love to see it though) and this will go to a specialist clay court player ....

.....oh yeah - done Serena in the Womens. Think Safina, whilst impressive so far, will tie up again the closer she gets to a major final ...

Im on at 20's with Gonzalez at 9's, so hoping he beats Murray today and then have a free bet in the final

Gonzalez has won

Andy has done brilliantly to have got this far and he should be very proud of himself

Nice one OWL.
Wouldnt have bothered usually but thought yours was a good spot.
So have got one of the finalists at 20/1 or 9/1.
Hope Federer now gets knocked out so as to make the final a better betting proposition to bet on the other finalist.
