Evening Al. I've backed Fatboyz Nodrog at 66/1 each way in this. It's always about getting a run for my money in this but I think Wimbledon should suit the dog.

Morning Mach.... Eliminated last night, met trouble and was fourth. Good spot though, I noticed a recent win over Advantage Johnnie, who ( I think ) reached the semis of this last year.

The favourite, Fear Zafonic, won last night, this dog is lightning quick iwhen getting a clear. 6/1 is very short though, as sooner or later he will have a race where he needs to use track craft and come from behind.

Still in it, I think. Four qualifiers in the first round? I know he nabbed 4th in a photo.

This is just incredible ! Heat Three of the quarter finals has drawn SIX of the first ten in the antepost betting against each other. This race may well be better than the actual final.

DRAW

1
Ja Mann
Love Mac
Jogadusc Ace
Kylegrove Cougar (m)
Deanridge Fury (w)
Wise Thought (w)

2
Cabra Fly
Kinda Ready
Droopys Quinta (m)
Cabra Boss (w)
Kindred Sparky (w)
Bubbly Maestro (w)

3
Farloe Reason
Bandicoot Tipoki
Fear Zafonic
Shelbourne Aston
Ballymac Ruso
Greenwell River (m)

4
Glenard Sunrise
Shelbourne Denny (m)
Marbeck Wonder (m)
Windy Millar (m)
Stop The Show (w)
Romeo Turbo (w)

Semi Final draw

Jogadusc Ace
Fear Zafonic
Ballymac Ruso
Shelbourne Denny (m)
Wise Thought (w)
Stop The Show (w)

Glenard Sunrise
Farloe Reason
Kinda Ready
Love Mac
Cabra Boss (w)
Bubbly Maestro (w)

BallyMac Russo and Fear Zafonic clash again in the first heat. T/2 should see Fear Zafonic give a better account of himself, but both should qualify, along with the wide running Wise Thought. With three of the first four in the betting drawn in heat one. Farloe Reason looks sure to win the second heat form T/2 and may be worth a bet outright.

Considering he already had Ninja Jamie and Bandicoot Topiki, it shows how Charlie rates Fear Zafonic.

Zafonic broke well to lead early, there was trouble on the inside and although being knocked slightly wide, Fear came out best of those drawn inside and built a clear lead. Kinda Ready eventually ran him down to lead on the line.

Here's a replay :-

On the comments they're saying Fear Zafonic went lame, not sure how true it is.

I hope Fear Zafonic is okay, he actually touched 1/100 on betfair. Hats off to connections of Kinda ready, as my grandad used to tell me " The dog doesnt know what price he is son" How true that was last night. I am guessing connections were on at some fancy prices before the competition started.
