There obviously needs someone to make executive decisions. You have done a fantastic job to get us this far and would be my choice to carry on.

I am not too worried about Who trains, Where trained etc. all I want is value for money.

Richard Lee sounds good especially if close to you Jenny and you can check out facilities and trainer etc.

At this current time i have put my name down as intrsted but this all depends on how work goes if i get a job etc. Location etc i wouldnt be fussy with. As Skanky has said i think value is he most important thing for me.

Richard Lee is fine by me. He isn`t as far south as some of the other trainers.

Now that we know there is interest I think its time to arrange a meeting somewhere. Early in September ????? Any thoughts ????? Weekends for us northerners.

I am stuck here in Wales until 18 August. After that, a meeting any time up to mid-September would be fine by me! Suggest a race meeting somewhere "in the middle" so that far North and far West can manage it! We can have our meeting beforehand, when we are all still (relatively) sober!

Here are some options:

Chester 26 August (Saturday)
Haydock 2 September (Saturday)
York 9 September (Saturday)
Goodwood 9 September (Saturday)
Newbury or Warwick 16 September (Saturday)
Uttoxeter 17 September (Sunday)

Please post preference - in the end, if there's a tie, I'll decide!!

Hi Jenny

The York dates changed due to the St Leger moving - It's the Friday 8th and Saturday 9th now.

And just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck with this

Having a think about this - Dom, thanks for the info on Chester. Thats

Chester 1.

York 2.

Haydock 2 (but it is the big sprint day I think, so crowds)

Wolverhampton, evening 2 September 1

Thought it might be a good idea to meet mid-morning (ish!) before the beer/wine/champagne/whisky takes too much of a hold . I think it is possible to ask racecourses to provide a meeting room or other "private" venue. Might be a good idea - then if a riot breaks out it is confined to just us

Jenny,
Both York and Haydock are the closest to us. It`ll take us about 6 hours to get to either. I remember being at Haydock on that day in the past, I think its the big sprint day. So there will be a large crowd.

Another choice, Wolverhampton evening meeting 2nd Sept. We could get the Hamilton meeting on the way home on the Sunday .

Just a thought, everyone. It would be useful if the meeting could be after I have visited Lee (and I hope other yards). So maybe late August/September, to give me time.....

Jenny
I go along the same lines as Rapid Haydock or York.
I cannot travel before that date as i am just out of hospital and hoping to be fit again around that time also it would be far enough for me to travel just now, but after that i will go anywhere for a meeting.

Toast

So are we planning to meet up for York or Haydock then?

Personally, I could do with knowing for sure ASAP.
