Down to the serious stuff of this weekends Derby heats at Wimbledon. There are plenty of interesting clashes and a few potential shocks on the cards.

Starting with tonight and Heat Three, Kryptonite goes in T1 Lenson Express in T2 Melodys Pat in T3 and Toosey Blue in T6. Melodys Pat and Kryptonite start fast so Lenson Express could find trouble at the first bend. Toosey Blue is Drawn in six, oussstside of likely favourite Tyrur Hestor. If Melodys Pat hits the bend first it could be all over. here we have a race to savour with every dog having a chance.

In the 9.15 HeaditonElis is drawn on the rail but the improving Bandicoot Tipoki in T2 should have his measure.

The 9.30 should be between Machs selection Faboyz Nodrog in T6 and the jolly, Wise Thought in T4 The four dog looks tha banker of the night, albeit at odds on.

9.45 and again I cant see past the first two in the betting. Farloe Reason ( Ninja Jamies brother ) and Boherna Best. I really fancy my old favourite Farloe Reason to win this from T3

On to Saturday and the 8.30 Bubbly Totti goes here in T6, but cant afford a tardy break like last time. Windy Millar in T/3 could be away and gone.

In the 8.45 Shebourne Ashton hit trouble in the first round when in T3 but is better draswn in T1 and should be away and gone. Kylgrove Cougar could grab second place here.

In the 9.15 we have the brillian Ninja Jamie in T/1 with last years wonder puppy Ballymac Under alongside in T2. I cant see past Jamie though, and both should qualify.

The biggest turn up of the two days could take place in the 9.30 The antepost favourite Fear Zafonic, goes from T3. As good as he is, im convinced at some point he will hit big trouble. I think tonight could be the night as he has the magnificent, if out of sorts, Barney running on his inner. Barnfield On Air has been one the the wonder dogs of the last two seasons, so should not be under estimated. Another fly in the oitment is that the one dog, Goldcrest King, can also ping the lids. Throw the brilliant Dotland Hit Man, the only wide runner and drawn in T6 into the mix, and you can see we may have an upset. This race really is all about the break, Fear Zafonic should get away first, but Barney has proved he can run from behind. These two may get in each others way and Goldcrest King will forge clear. All three may tangle leaving it open for Dotland Hitman on the outside.

Anyhow, its down to some bets.

FRIDAY

8.30 Melodys Pat 2 points win @ 5/2 with Corals
9.15 and 9.45 Favs. 2 points double Ev and 4/6 respectively with Blue sq.

SATURDAY

9.30 a speculative 2 points on Goldcrest King in T1
8.45 and 9.15 Favs 2 points double

If I remember I will put Saturdays prices up in the morning.

Friday Update

Toosey Blue was no suprise winning the 8.15 from his wide draw, what did suprise me was the staggering price of 10/1. My main selection in the race, Melodys Pat was third, with Lenson Express splitting the two. Kryptonite and Tyrur Hestor were both eliminated. In the 9.15 Bandicoot Topiki beat Head Iton Ellis for a 1/2. Wise Thought, my best bet of the night did indeed win after meeting trouble, Fatboyz Nodrog met trouble though and was eliminated in the 9.30 Bohernas Best won the 9.45 with Farloe Reason a beaten fav in third spot after getting bumped.

Running Total was 3.31 points.
Four points loss so new running total is -0.69 points

Saturday update.

Mixed fortunes tonight. Of the races i previewed, Windy Millar was indeed away and gone in the 8.30 Bubbly Totti did as i feared, missed the break and was eliminated. In the 8.30 Shelbourne Aston won at 1/2 with my selection for second, Kylegrove Cougar filling that spot at 20/1. The straight forecast was a respectable £14.83. In the 9.14 Ninja Jamie did indeed win, filling the double for us, but Ballymac Under was eliminated. On to the 9.30 where I predicted possible trouble at the first. It happened as expected, with all three dogs on the inner involved. My speculatiive punt went astray. Goldcrest King finished sixth, with the big shock being Barnfield On Air was also eliminated. Dotland hit Man did get a clear run on the outside but was slow away leaving the four dog to go clear. Antepost favourite Fear Zafonic ran on for third, and I remain convinced he wont win this unless being drawn in the One box in each round

Running Total was -0.69 points.

The two favs won at 5/4 and 1/2 giving a return of 6.75 points
Total outlay was 4 points
New running total is + 6.09 points
