Just been looking through the cards and theres some quality races to come! My favourite from Cheltenham Mikael D'Hagunet runs but im not sure how the ground will suit. Intrested to see Quevega and Cooldine out again aswell.

"We've had 20 millimetres in the last four days. It stopped raining yesterday morning and it dried up a bit during the afternoon. I walked it last night, and it's winter soft ground, it shouldn't inconvenience these proper National Hunt horses.

"The forecast is for a shower or two so it shouldn't dry up dramatically and should be beautiful ground on Tuesday.

Considering he was running on pretty heavy stuff over there earlier in the season should be right up his street.

Yeah I could hardly believe Gowran Park was off with waterlogging today when I've been sitting in the beer gardens this week!

As well as the 3 you mentioned also looking forward to seeing Hurricane Fly romp home in their Supreme Novices.

Punchestown and the East don't usually get as much rain as we do in the West, but I can tell you it's lashed since last Weds and no sign of letting up before the middle of the week. We had floods that we haven't seen since the wettest time of the winter

Especially if Cooldine takes on the big boys in the Gold Cup instead of the novice chase... think Quevega's entered in a couple too so they might all go off pretty short

Anyone know if it is a good idea to back Cheltenham winners at Punchestown or do they mostly get turned over ?

If they missed Aintree they usually do okay but don't forget it is a right handed track.

Back Edna Bolger horses in the x-country, farms it more than Cheltenham.

Great to see a post from Jet on the board again...

Newmill is huge value at 50-1 tomorrow.

Forget Big Zeb, Newmill has to beat either Masterminded or Mansony to collect on the place and who knows what might happen in a 2-mile chase!

I would go for Mansony - by Mansonnien and they love soft ground. It's pouring outside still, you'll be glad to know

Not much in the way of good betting opportunities tomorrow, even the bookies are not offering much in the way of place concessions only PP are going 1/4 first 5 in the handicap at the moment and the other 3 races with lots of runners it is mostly 1/5 first 3.
I was hoping Native Clan was going to be a much better price than he is as he would of won last time under a more patient ride and still looks reasonably handicapped but i will leave him at that price and go for one that is going to be a bigger price TBP and may have been aimed at this race.

Obviously alot of Interest in todays races.

This 4:55 is a really hard race but i have come to the conclusion 2 horses are overpriced in Sher Why Not and Paramount and either one running into the top 5 would give a good return.
Paramount has some decent form, even his run a couple of weeks ago Indicates he should not be a 40/1 shot in this race and he is the one I aam more hopeful of.
Perfect Reward looks the best bet at the top of the market although i do expect Native Clan to take all the beating
