Starts this week ,some will think if Tom Watson turns up ,he would walk it,after yesterdays showing ,if only golf was that simple.
They call this the round bellies tour(Over 50 years) ,one 51 year old is certainly no round belly ,thats Bernard Langer ,he will be my main bet for this senior major at Sunningdale ,still awaiting oddschecker to give me a market though.

Faldo,Woosnam and Torrance......lay them all. The british have a record as poor in this as they do in the main open with the last 10 years

Agree with Archie on Mr Torrance.

Being played on the course where he has been based for over 30 years, he said in the Sunday Herald at the weekend that winning the Senior Open at Sunningdale would be his greatest ever playing triumph in golf, even better than sinking the winning putt in 85 at the Belfry.

Seems to be generally priced at 33s or 40s, but 60s with Bet365 -  might be worth a nibble.

Cheers

Langer a short priced favourite for this (can't beat 6/1)

Woosnam a massive 40/1 with Ladbrokes who go 80/1 Sir Nick ; I am taking both each way

Stand out bet among the americans is Mark OMearsa who is 28/1 with paddy power, and Im backing him too.

if you want a 500/1 or thereabouts outsider a la Tom Watson last week two to watch are Mike reid available at 400/1 and Jose rivero at 150

gl all
