I know rumours always abound with regards to big handicaps. One doing the rounds down here is Ella, in the November Handicap. Certainly the betting suggests it has a chance. Ella has also got winning form on heavy ground so the going wont be a problem.

In the same race Peter Winkworth sends Safari Sunup all the way from Surrey. He surely has an E/w chance if it doesnt get too soft.

Kangaroo Court is a non-runner in the Wincanton novice chase.

I don't normally post tips, but my husband is in Ireland with the Forpadydeplaster gang - who apparently is fit to bust and going for it today (as if he wouldn't).

He is staying in the same hotel as the owner of Dallaglio and he feels very strongly that his horse will win today! In the 1.30 at Down Royal and paying 4.4 on BF.

Just passing on a strong positive - and there was me picking out Aladdins Cave!!

I think this one has been supported all week and has everything in her favour today. Her two wins last season were on heavy and her runs this season would suggest the horse has been trained with this race in mind.

Ella's dam, Flossy, won the race in 1999.

Mamlook is a great ew price in the limited handicap hurdle at Wincanton. Ran well in the ces at newmarket and runs from the bottom of the handicap. 8-1 seems great value who is race fit unlike a few of the others.

My Will in the big race at Down Royal.

Exmoor Ranger at a decent price in the Badger Ales'. Thinking about a couple of others.

Crack away got better the further he went and as he was pushed into his fences - impressive once asked to go!

Hope he is going to be as good as I think he is..... jumped efficiently if a bit lazy over the railway fences! Still a good Arkle hope with a turn of foot I think!

Will watch that on ATR replay - if he handled the railway fences, even if lazily (!), he's OK! He's in my TTF so I'm hoping early promise turns into something decent.....

When I say Lazy - the pace over the railway fences was not great and he was not being pushed into them so clatted the 2nd and 3rd without looking like falling- when asked to progress he went past Calusa Crystal very easily and jumped better for the increase in pace - just what you want in an Arkle horses - joint fav with Sizing Europe at 8.60 (BF)

Now come on Dallaglio!

Celestial Halo supporters must be pleased with that performance at Wincanton just now.

Thanks for the word Phardy, managed to get on @ Ladbrokes at 7/2, next time I looked it had halved in price to 7/4! So it was obviously very well fancied. Shame it got brought down by another horse, it was like a domino effect. He took it out wide to keep it out of trouble, a horse fell on the rail, took another down, then another, then Dallaglio Will definitely be watching this next time out... Cheers again
