Well it started last night in somewhat of a bang. Arthur Abraham is top of the table with his 3pts for a knockout in the 12th round against Jermain Taylor. Carl Froch however only got 2pts for his disappointing split decision win over Andre Dirrell. Dirrell seemed an awkward fighter who if he'd pressed on like he did in the latter rounds earlier in the fight, could well have beaten Froch.

The next fight is Mikkel Kessler vs. Andre Ward which should be Kessler all the way. However after that is Froch vs. Kessler. I'll be steaming into Kessler at any odds against Froch who I deem to be a one-dimensional banger. Joe Calzaghe was quoted as saying Kessler was his hardest opponent and as I feel Froch would stand no chance aginst Joe, I must back it up by backing Kessler. In all fairness, it'll probably be a KO win aswell.

Other than that, any other thoughts on this tournament? It is a very interesting concept and something which was really needed in a highly competitive super-middleweight division so I say hats off to Showtime for creating it!
