Ok, it's naff but the Russians just opened with the most amazing throw - one of the girls hurled into the air in a sort of galloping stag shape, which she held as she rotated into to the water.

Quite impressive to someone who can only doggypaddle these days...

Looks like it's finished now  

Never mind, I wasn't planning on watching anymore Olympics coverage.

I was so upset yesterday over those poor horses
and was so annoyed with the TKD judges this morning that I decided these games aren't very good for my health  

I'm going out now to brave the bank holiday chaos in Stratford!

Indeed! I can't think of another one that does that, although I suppose shooting and archery might if they showed enough of it! But the Beeb sensibly only showed the important bits. Even I, who shoot, don't find it particularly compelling viewing, though I like to keep up with who has won what!
