I know this is early but these things are good to resolve sooner rather than later. What colours would people want?

How about the union jack is that allowed?

From a biased point of view... Black and white stripes

Unbiased... Id say something matching this forum possibly, blue and grey? Just like the gif?

KK, think the Union Flag is copyright, and is only allowed to be used on "national" teams of various sorts - eg UK Athletics and so on.

Shamardal, I think you'll find those are already taken, though I might be wrong - colours have to be unique.

My (slightly ironic) suggestion would be blue, purple sleeves, yellow cap (or any combination thereof!) to match the bruising to pockets and/or possibly expectations!!

My own colours (if I ever get to own one that's all mine!) would be mid-blue and white diamonds, yellow sleeves and cap (to match the spring flowers on the farm - sentimental, I know!)

Blue and grey were Dessie's colours, and I guess they are still registered so it would have to be another combination - but they might bring us luck!

There are strict rules about colours, and if you Google "Racing Colours" you will find a couple of suppliers' websites - one of which has an excellent design tool so you can see what the colours would look like. They would have to pass the BHB/HRA. I understand that quite a few people have them made in Canada and sent over, as it is cheaper!

I think this is something we could discuss and decide on at the meeting - because by that time we will know whether the idea is a runner or not.....OK, I'm doing an Aunty Jen again! If we get that far, we could put all the ideas into a hat and simply draw for the colours.

Glennie, sounds great! Get her to have a look at the "Racing Colours" websites, also the rules (BHB I think, or HRA) which are quite strict.

The design website, which lets you design colours on line within the rules, is www.allertons.com

Unfortunately, only 3 shades of blue are allowed - navy, royal and light. But we might do something with those three (and then everyone will think Coolmore and Godolphin have merged!)
