I can see he might have been cross, and the ref was a bit of a jobsworth, but....

I suppose if you are a fighter in a sport which requires yuo to have the capacity to inflict serious injury on other people, and try to do so on someone who is neither prepared nor able to defend themselves, then that is breaking the code in a big way.
