Yes, let's speak to Kelly Sutherland, who didn't win a medal and is clearly not really feeling the love...

Well, if this terrible BBC "ooh, we're the BBC we are" erformance doesn't make you turn it off, I recommend this:

Hmm. Not sure the PM is conveying quite the image he wants - looks more like he's part of teh Heathrow ground staff!

Oh, that's superb - gold medalist Nicole Cooke snubbed live on the BBC!

I did have a chuckle at this.  The athletes, feeling tired and missing their families get off the plane to be greeted by the gruesome twosome of Brown and Jowell (sporting ridiulous London 2012 t-shirt)!

What an imbecile of a woman greeting the athletes.  good job Roger Black was there to give her the names.

Went down to Cardiff Bay this lunchtime for the home-coming for the Welsh athletes. I thought it was very well done.

An open top bus pulled up to the front of the Senedd, the athletes on the top deck. Nicole Cooke was really up for it, Dai Davies was very popular (doing the Ayatollah as always) Geraint Thomas got a huge cheer and I think Tom James was possibly taken aback a little by the huge support being from Wrexham in North Wales. However he was soon lapping it up like the others. All the Welsh athletes were there (those who could make it) not just the medalists and thankfully when First Minister Rhodri Morgan spoke, it wasn't an overly political speech, it was rightfully very congratulatory towards Welsh athletes but focused on how we as a country had contributed to Team GB as a whole.

Over 2000 people turned out to welcome them home and I guess I was about 2 metres away from a gold medal and I was really impressed. They are very very bright!
