End of the season time when just the top 30 golfers compete for the prize.
Makes a change from the usual format of 155 plus golfers.
This is a good time for them each way bets, though once again some firms are being greedy going one fifth of the odds the first 4 instead of one quarter ,so check the firms place tems before betting.
No cut so at least you will get 4 days on your selection.
Do you take Woods on this week after his recent 8 stoke win,11/10 is the blackprint high street price ,2.36 with betfair, its a tough one.
Fancies ,thoughts etc please? _________________ I AM HAPPY TO JOIN WITH YOU TODAY IN WHAT WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST DEMONSTRATION FOR FREEDOM IN THE HISTORY OF OUR NATION(THE I HAVE A DREAM SPEECH,1963, MARTIN LUTHER KING)
So John Senden who crept into 30th place ahead of Poulter the show pony thanks to the capitulation of Snedeker will walk away with $295,000 regardless of how poor he does this week well assuming he doesn't get disqualified

Small each way on Heath Slocum, 100-1 and a modicum of recent form plus a win on Stricker at 15s. Stricker has been performing very well over the last few years but does not seem to receive the press lesser performers get.

Harrington ,one behind Woods in joint second place ,currently 3.25 on the betfair without Woods market ,at the half way stage.
Woods has birded all 4 par 5 so far.
Harrington had 3 pars and a bogey.
Tiger always makes the 5's pay, could have eagled one yesterday as well.
Good there's only 1 in it though, Tiger 3 or 4 ahead at half way may have got very boring. Hopefully Padraig can hang in and keep the dreaded big number of the card unlike Cink and Mickleson who would be in great poistions without those quad bogeys

This is going to look like shocking after timing but actually put a small stake on Mickelson at 40s half way through round 3 when it was clear that my main 2 picks were going to do naff all.
Mickelson was quality yesterday. He must be thinking roll on next season. Hopefully he'll still be a backable price next time out.
Shocking luck with Perry awaywardlad. It seems that he just can't play with Tiger on a Sunday!
