sorry in work ,got them out of racing post ,just been on my break to do the Hills treble ,on the Wed/Thursday coupon and found they are all shorter than prices for hills quoted on page 101 of todays racing post.So never put bet on
All the horse prices come straight off oddschecker as soon as the movement starts ,but dont check every football price ,as its very unusual for them to alter teams prices in shops.
Sure they do in the offices ,phone ,internet etc but you can normally get around that by doing the coupons ,as long as you dont go overboard.

Macheda was 7s when put up ,checked with oddscheck.
Everton are now 5/6 general ,so alter that as well.

i have asked before but i feel compelled to ask again. on this and your market movers thread, do you actually back the selections with real money?

the only reason i ask is not to have a go, but i don't think you could get on a lot of your bets at the prices you put up, so the returns are completely distorted and not actually a representation of what would happen in the real world.
oddschecker is a handy site, but is slow to update, and the prices on there will not be relevant if the price is moving (contracting) so just saying the price was on oddschecker does not mean you could have backed it at that price - as mach pointed out today.
that's why i have said all along i don't think you could be backing your selections, otherwise you would know the prices were wrong - and your profits would be lower.

As a guy ,who does a full time job,you dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that it would be impossible for me to get on all the bets i put up at the time,I would lose my main income ,as I wouldnt be paying attention to my work,maybe in two years time ,when i have 40 years in and as I am on a final salary scheme ,I can retire.
Then if I did and betted full time ,I wouldnt be on the forum as it would cost me money in wasted time and giving the secrets away.
So enjoy it while you can and realise the prices ,I have put up ,have been right by oddchecker and if you are quick you might get on.
Any queries on me have a word with ascoast who might be able to fill you in but there is a lot I havent told him.
Maybe this isnt the answer you want ,but it is the honest answer.

Value Seeker, I wont divulge bits you tell me about yourself via email on a public forum, neither will the other Mods and Admin. If you wish people to know, tell them yourself please.
Acca, Mac and others. I realise VS posts some prices up that are not accurate, we all do that. It is impossible to write an article or longish thread and check info is up to date. It is only as current as Oddschecker or the last time the poster looked at Oddschecker. Yesterday I went to back Eagle Nebula with Betfred, the price changed from 5/1 to 4/1 while I was writing my bet, so even being in the shop, if I had said it was 5s I would have been wrong by the time you checked.
VS often gets a raw deal on his threads, getting asked questions or comments others dont get asked, this is just my observation of the matter, not an accussation against anyone. I really dont think it is fair. We all know that when he started his market movers thread he was using early, and often unaccurate, prices from the RP. From my point of view this wasnt a genuine market move, I asked him to stop doing this and he kindly did. I feel using current, even if it isnt updated, Oddschecker prices, is good enough. To hold everyone accountable for 100% accurate prices is not only impossible but unrealistic. It would only stop people posting views and trying to give a heads up. _________________ If at first you dont succeed..then skydiving isnt for you
