25th January I struck that bet, If he does win a slam then I have always thought the US Open will be it because the surface is perfect for his game which is not as good an allround game as someone like Murray but on a US Open surface it is not so important and perfect for Del Potro to be at his best.
Yes I will Lay off as had every Intention on doing so when making the bet _________________ Forest are Treemendous
Gonzalez is way to big tonight at 3/1> to beat Nadal and must be backed accordingly, also must be traded accordingly as well mind _________________ Forest are Treemendous
Seems strange they are putting the Nadal v Del Potro match on nearly 5 hours before the Fed. game considering Nadal only finished his 1/4 final yesterday compared to Feds. 2> days ago _________________ Forest are Treemendous
A cracking bet as I've said already, YY. Well done.
Fed wins this, though. He's just such an intelligent player and consistently plays within himself. He has a great record against Del Potro and I think that will continue.
He's had one of the best seasons of his career and who would have thought that after losing to Rafa at Wimbeldon 08'.
I've thought for some time now that Roger is one of the greatest sportsmen or women of ALL time. What he has done / doing, will never be surpassed (within his sport certainly) and he could quite easily bag a few more Slams before he retires. I envisage him finishing on about 19 or 20.
