Will anything Katchit?

No 4yo has won it in the last 10 yrs (that ring a bell?)

Personally I'd be pleased if Ebaziyan won it but he hasn't shown much in his first two starts this season.

I reckon Jazz Messenger is the one.

LS

Edit - Ive gone for Al Eile  :xmlol:

Hopefully Katchit will do the business on saturday, I have him at 10/1 for the Champion Hurdle, but that is his favourite track. I like JM, he seems to be improving a little and must be well considering he had a bad cut after the Hatton Grace, so that must have cleared up. However Meade has always penciled in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton for JM, a race he won last year, . So maybe he is rushing him a bit or maybe he is going to make it a very good clip for Harchibald. I cannot see Harchibald's tactics working against a horse like Katchit, who never gives in, but JM could shake him up. However I expect Katchit to win and win well.

Is there not a bonus this year for winning the Fighting Fifth, Christmas Hurdle & Champion Hurdle if there is does anyone know what it is.
As for the race i will be surprised if Katchit makes the first 3 if there are more than 3 runners that is

I agree YY but i think most of them know that its nigh on impossible to win those 3 unless you have an absolute superstar, which they all know they dont have. I think a worm will emerge from the woodwork and win this years CH just like last year. If not then its sublimitys to lose again once he arrives there on they day he will beat the current crop easily.

Take it you'll be laying Katchit on saturday?

Probably as he will be some ridiculously short price, I think Pigeon Island showed how poor the 4YO really are on Saturday because both times he has raced older horses he has been beat easy yet he comes back against the 4YO saturday and wins and most of the horses he beat saturday have form links with Katchit

There is no point giving a price based on that as less than half of these entered will turn up

Ok fair enough, I will wait then. As you think he is a place lay I should get a better price with you than I will with Joe Coral!

There doesn't look much in that field to give Katchit a race - apart from Jazz Messenger and possibly Blythe Knight. I assume Ebaziyan won't turn up (and on this season's form it may not matter anyway).

Katchit certainly won't be a backable price if the carve up predicted happens. I would not make him a place lay either though
