9th October 2009Alvarado in the first at Carlisle is interesting. Sent over to Punchestown for a bumper but ran free but the start giving up any chance. Must have been well regarded to have sent over.
Up against a hotpot who has run over hurdles without winning.
There are probably only two other horsres of interest aint she the lady and broadway star an unlikely runner so anything around 5-1 seems like an ew bet to nothing and would hope for a good run for my money.

disappointed with the price as it traded at 7.2 on betfair this morning. I got abit on but planned a decent ew bet at lunchtime hoping for 5-1 11-2. Didn't back it ew in the end and cut my stake but a winner is a winner.

cheers acca. What i have been doing is looking at various tips in the paper and then analysing the race and if i come to the same conclusion as the tip i back if not I don't back the tip OR the horse i fancy either.
I have being focusing on the tips in the express and concentrated on two races today the the first at carlisle and the 320 at York.. In the 320 at york computerman who is consistently one of the leading newspaper tipsters napped felday but i fancied Malcheek so i left both alone. As it happens Felday won but i won't back any of the tips unless i fancy it as well.
It seems to be working as the lst few months my returns are improving.
I still go out on a limb from time to time such as Regal Parade which I really fancied but generally i am trying to stick to my kind of system.
