Are British football clubs being unfairly...................targeted over transfers?

I think British clubs have long been an unfair target for FIFA and UEFA. It stems from us winning trophies.

Hard to say without knowing the facts. At least UEFA and FIFA are doing something about it though- a fine does nothing to the big teams so a transfer ban is a great idea. I don't know how it works in other countries but I know that the legislation that stops the signing of young players (I don't know the contractual specifics) in Spain was the reason that Arsenal got Cesc...

what about the spanish and italians then?
and the teams winningthe triophies (man and liverpool) arent being targetted by uefa as far as i can see..

i'd say it stems more from the commercial success of the premier league as a brand/product than from our success in european competition (over time i don't know that we fare so much better than others do we?)
that said, i do think platini is an absolute , and i do think he hates english football. would absolutely love to knock france out of the world cup

Couldnt agree with you more. The EPL is second to none with regards to pulling power and prestige around the world.
Platini hates us with a passion, would love him to wake up one day and discover he was French................ooohh wait a minute
