AvatarsWhen I logged on this morning the forum was down, when it came back up I found little red x's where mine and other avatars should be, anyone got a solution please? |

I can see some avatars but not others Papa. I think it`s a server problem so it should be fixed at some stage. | ||||||

Your welcome. I have found almost all the problems I have had here, signing in, displaying avatars ect have been down to the main server. | ||||||

Maybe the server owners have limited the size of avatars.
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 16 KB. Other than the above i cant find anything on the admin panel. |

As far as I know avatars can't be uploaded if they are bigger than the size quoted. I know to get my avatar on I had to resize it to 100 pixels square and 16kb. This has happened to me after I couldn't get onto the forum a couple of days ago. I'll go away and do a bit of googling, ooer.

Got mine back, uploaded picture to my Photobucket album and set my profile to look at URL, not so simples but works.

Could it be that Photobucket is the missing link? I see FF has hers through URL from Photobucket.

Mach, it seems that a lot of red X's have the following site in their avatar source.........http://forum.sports-pro.co.uk/ava...free189/sportsbetting.myfreeforum ( when I click on the link it says that it is broken) Try uploading Lily to Photobucket and follow instructions for putting on the forum and the lovely lady will be back, we all miss her.

My pic's via photobucket too - that might be an answer. But this upgrade should be sorted soon so it might not be worth changing anything
