Best odds guaranteedI put a bet on in Coral's today and took a price, thinking it would shorten. In the end it didn't, but when I went to collect they paid out at SP anyway!
I had a similar bet the other week at Ladbrokes and they paid the price I took, so just wondering does anyone know which bookies will pay out the best odds and which will just pay what's on your slip? I'm thinking actual betting shops more so than online.
Thanks

Betfred have certain races each day that are Best Odds races. Bet365 are the same. Other than that I don't know.

William Hill online and BlueSq are bot BOG on all English and Irish races.

As Flipando said, Betfred do best odds on certain races. I am pretty sure Stan James does too.

And Paddy Power? At least, the site advertises BOG for most if not all races.

Yes Paddypower do also on all UK and Irish racing..
They also do it for multiple bets(doubles, trebles, luck 15s) which I dont think all bookies do..

I wont place a bet on a british horse-race without getting BOG now. Why not when you can? The times I've had 2 or more up in a yankee and the BOG have made a huge difference to my returns. It's a pretty new idea isn't it? I'd never heard of such a thing 2 years ago, it must be Betfairs presence.

back in the day - before betfair and you paid ten per cent tax on your bet the best odds guatanteed would be common for all the BIG meetings.
sean graham are doing it now for all races but only if you go to their shop in central belfast - some people say they are only doing this to show high turnover margins to a potential buyer but i wouldn't know about that.

P Power online do a lot of good offers
best odds is very common; certainly any race with early prices they do that
they also do really good stuff over refunding losing bets in particular circumstances..
I quite like them (but tote is b/m of choice simply because of where the profit goes)

Does B.O.G ever apply to antepost bets?
i.e; you back a horse @ 20/1 ap, it goes off at 40/1 - would any bookies give you 40/1 if it won?

i'd be amazed if anyone offered that.
the equivalent of an otc price improvement in derivatives - it exists, but only for clients who pay so much comm it works out worth the brokers while
