BetFred Eclipse Stakes semis tonight nott

3 semis tonigthg for the eclipse tonight at notts. ante post i cant pick betwen three dogs so i'm going for pea ball (8/1) whos in good form and two nicks(14's). But its also been brought to my attention that the course record holder is also in the semis and thats lively arthur @ 16's
so i'm in for:

5points- pea ball
5points- two nicks
5points- lively arthur

I really Fancy PeaBall to win this outright. It should be a good nights racing to excite us in advance of tomorrow at Waltahmsto and then Friday for the start of the "Essex Vase"

All i can find out about PeaBall is he fell, maybe he was disqualified for fighting or something. sadly there is bad news for the brilliant Fear Haribo.

From the RP

Fear Haribo suffers serious injury
Ante-post favourite Fear Haribo crashed out of the Betfred Eclipse at Nottingham when suffering a career-threatening gracilis injury in the third semi-final of the 500m competition on Monday.
It was a miserable night for trainer Charlie Lister who also saw his Farloe Premier (wrist) go lame in the second semi-final although Affleck Elite did provide some relief when finishing second to shock all-the-way scorer Centaur Decree (14-1) in Fear Haribo's race, the winner clocking 30.56sec.
Fastest time of the night came from Laurence Tuffin's local Two Nicks in the opening semi as he proved three-parts of a length too strong for Cagey Luke in 30.48sec, while Iceman Vader also got up close home in the second semi when accounting for Rev Counter by a neck in 30.62sec.
On a rain-soaked, freezing night, racing was intermittently delayed by an electrical fault that affected the lighting on the third and fourth bends resulting in the runners going to traps some 20 minutes later than scheduled for the opening semi-final.

The track declined to make the trap draw for next Monday's £8,000 final which will instead take place at the NGRC on Tuesday morning.

I just saw this today

That poor fella. I hope he is able to get well even if he can't race. Such a shame.
