Betting help with ladbrokes website please

Hi all,

I'm trying to do an each way double using ladbrokes website, it has to be with them as they are best price about one of the horses i want to back.

so i have both horses in the bet slip, the e/w tick box is ticked next to the line that says "Double", but when i hover over the bet type it says
"2 selections, both must win"

That does just mean that they both have to be placed doesn't it? Not that they both must win the race? Is it bad wording, or just me misunderstanding. I've never used ladbrokes for e/w double before.

thanks

oh well, i've done it anyway. if they both place and i don't get a return i'm blaming you lot

I don't know Ladbrooks site - but did they take the stake you'd expect from an ew double or just a double? That might help you to work out of you have the bet you needed?

I think it is just a mistake in their wording but I don't remember winning a double with Laddies lately   so I can't test the theory.

Good luck

cheers, ladies to the rescue.
yeah they took an each way stake, so i think it is right, hopefully just bad wording on their part
