Shame it gives them yet more publicity, but yes it would be hilarious if hordes of non-white British people mobbed their meetings and bombarded them with questions about macro-economic policy, transport and education.

Is Nick Griffin going on question time then? It'll turn the usually well informed and engaging programme in to a farce.

I think ignore them is the best thing to do, the more you get riled up/involved with them the more publicity/gratification they get. Just leave the moronic to there moronic ways.

GG, in fairness to the BBC, they can't really stop Griffin going on QT now the BNP have MEP's. As was said(I think by Nigel Farrage of all people) on last nights QT, it's the voters that put the BNP on QT. Not the BBC.

As regards the membership thing, I did think that it's a completely pointless excercise trying to get an organisation that any "non white" in their right mind wouldn't want to join to change their constitution. I am still of that opinion but it would be funny, I admit, if they got masses of Asians, Africans, West Indians etc sign up and get voting rights on party policy

There are many societies of non white people that don't (or didn't) want white people in their midst. (please correct me if I'm wrong) Africans, Indians, American Indians, Tribes in Borneo, Tribes in the Amazon.

Why is it so tragic all of a sudden that a group of white folks want to just live with themselves? They like being white. Black people like being black.

Give the BNP a corner of Cumbria to live in and Job done.

I haven't read their manifesto, but are they nazis? Are they trying to rid the world of humans that have skin that is not white? and hair that is not blonde?

If you want my opinion, I think they are just a reaction to the reaction after the white British folks went forth and trod on all the lesser nations/cultures/creeds/colours back in the days.

Well times are different now and we like to think we're above all of that. Equality, one love, Bono. It all exists now mulit-cultralism is part of this countries make up nowadays. If other countries now or throughouit time want/wanted to be racist thart's up to them but we shouldn't sink to this level just because they did/do. These people go against nearly all modern beliefs and there basically just Nazis, saying 'What's wrong with the BNP' Is almost like saying 'what was wrong with the Nazis?' There's no place for these people on question time IMO.

There's a difference between equality and diversity. Yes it is absolutely right that everyone in this country should not be judged by their colour, sex, religion etc but they should be judged on who they are. However, the question of 'multi-cukturalism' is a different question all together. Let's face it white people's attempts to integrate with other cultures have been pretty disastrous in the past so there is a strong argument to say they should not do so again. However, the difference between that viewpoint, and the BNP's is that the BNP want every one who isn't white out of the country, In answer to the question 'Are they Nazi's', No but they are too close for my liking. This is a party that deny the holocaust for crying out loud!

I think Griffin should be allowed to go on QT & be shown up for the scumbag he is. The strategy that the mainstream parties have of pretending the BNP don't exist clearly isn't working! Take them on head on is the only way to deal with them imho.
