Countdown

Solve it then post a new one.

Must be solvable

999

75 75 25 25 9 9
Papa 3

(75 x 9)-9 =666

x75 = 49950

25+25 =50

49950 / 50 =999
----------------------------------

100-75-50-9-7-3 .......... 884?

MT VESSELS

50 + 75 = 125 x 7 = 875 + 9 = 884

Only twice but it was really worse than that    To get the other 5 I needed I divided 25 by 4 and got 5

(6+5)*75 = 825
25/4 = 5
825+5+9 = 839

I can't get it  - anyone??

I can get to 837

6+5 x75 = 825
25 -(9 +4) =12

total      837

6 points for closest?
geordie_racer

grrrrrrrrrrrrr 836

9x4=36x25=900

900-75 =825 +6+5= 836

Sorry, was playing Solsuite and forgot about this.
If i remember rightly it is
75*9 = 675
675 / 5 = 135
135 * 6 = 810 + 25 + 4 = 839

Simples

I thought that there was potentially a maximum of just 1 of each large number in the Countdown numbers game... just saying.

(25+1) * (25+1) = 676
676 / 4 = 169
169 + 25 = 194

Sweet dreams

no the contestants ask for what they prefer i think they could have all high numbers if they wanted
Flipando

I'm pretty sure there's a limit of 4 big numbers.  Each numbers game there is 1 of each big number and 2 of every small number available to choose 6 numbers from.  I'm pretty sure...

Yes that's the TV game show

Only rules stated here is that it can be solved

And you post a new one......millsy
johnnio

There's no limit for big numbers at all, it's entirely random. Me and my dad used to do them all the time. Most people don't use more than 1 big number because it becomes pretty silly otherwise and much more sensible to use just the one.
