Good luck to Dale on his retirement, imho a jockey who always gave his best, a professional through and through, and like alot  of jockeys travelled far for that winner,ii am sure he will be missed by all racing fans and his fellow jockeys

Dale never featured high on my list of jocks to follow. But he was always there. All the best to him.

Seems we don't have a new, young, hungry jock these days.

Same old names doing the biz - Kinane (50), Murgtaugh (40ish), Dettori(40ish), Fallon (40ish) Hills (80ish combined)

The girls seem to be taking advantage.

We need young jockey blood!!!

Bit harsh, LS! Without commenting on whether or not they are any good now or likely to become top class, what about, on the Flat

Philip Makin
David Probert
William Buick
Frederick Tylicki
Ahmed Adjetbi (sorry, spelling!)
Ian Brennan
Ryan Moore isn't that old, either!
and several others including the younger females
Catherine Gannon
Kelly Harrison
Amy ??
and how old are Hayley Turner and Kirsty Milczarek?

Plenty of good youngsters coming through in NH too

Rhys Flint
Nick Scholfield
Carl Honour
Byron Moorcroft
R P McLernon
Harry Skelton
Andrew Glassonbury
Ian Popham
Donal Devereux

None of the above jockey bookings would put me off backing a horse, and if they have an allowance all the better. I'll be particularly interested to watch the development of David Probert on the Flat and McLernon and Schofield over the jumps.
