Disaster at RomfordWell okay, just a financial disaster. Last night was a shocker for me. I had backed Droopys Carvalho @ 7/1 before the semis, win only as I was confident. Yesterday I saw Bubbly Totti was likely to start around evens. Since I had £10 at 7s running on the second fav, I had £20 on the jolly to cover my stake. Both dogs got bumped and Droopys lost by a head and a short head. Totti was last.
It could have been worse, my mate won £400 Monday and promtly put the lot in the roulette machine.
