Kieran Fallon will be riding at santa anita over the weekend

4th race  lemon chiffon
6th race  allicansayiswow
7th race  gitano hernando

the main reason for going is Gitano Hernando who must have impressed him alot last at wolves and if goes well here could go for the breeders cup classic

Thanks Tony - I knew about Gitano Hernando but not the others.  Do you know if they're Team Valour too?  

I hope I remember these races on Saturday night - Shame for me that Fallon's picked Santa Anita over York but I can hardly blame him.

the other rides are not for team valour both races are on turf with gitano hernando running in grade 1  goodwood stakes on dirt

He was saying in todays two page spread in the RP that he'll be riding in the US over the winter.

the piece in the RP today is interesting and confirms my thoughts that Fallon's horses are often overbet and that backing him blindly is the fast way to the poor house.

im putting a small win-place-show on gitano hernando today  morning line price 15-1    for fallon to the US ride this it must have give him a good feel, there is no america superstar in this and i think its very posible the botti colt will run well   also backed it at 20-1 e/w paddy power

Yet more evidence of just how far superior UK/Irish horses are to US horses on the turf/pro ride. Stotsfold, GH etc. are Group 2/3 horses here and can challenge/win Grade 1s there. If we send over a strong team we could probably win most of the races at the BC this year

the horse set the track record over in europe-have to guessnot many quality horses show up there

but there is a chance that he is better than most on poly over there

poly is ruining the game over here

especially the turf game

has unique/artificial properties that can make pace irrelevant

Yes it was at a poor track. And it must have been riding pretty quick as he didn't earn a particularly big speed figure

i would be very surprised if the europeans dont win the classic this year  the americans look a poor bunch to me, santa anita seems to suit the euro horses very well
