Goals GaloreA new Betfred coupon has just been launched entitled goals galore.
On Saturday they had all the EPL, Championship and SPL games and you had to forecast in which games both teams will scroe.
They offer 9/4 for 2, 9/2 for 3, 9/1 for 4, 17/1 for 5, 33/1 for 6, 55/1 for 7, 105/1 for 8, 200/1 for 9 and 350/1 for 10.
I did one bet for 4 and got it in.
Last night it had all the championship and CL matches on it and me and Papa went halves on 2 lines of 4 and 1 line with all 8.
CSKA scoring late on gave us the last one in.
Only had £2 on each 4 and £1 on all 8, so managed to net £73 each.
Deffo worth a 2nd look as am sure there are at least 3 to 4 games you can pick with confidence. I like the fact that each match is not individually priced for having both teams to score so you can get the same price for Real Madrid v Barcelona as you would Blackburn v Bolton.

Good work.
I see Grafite scored a hatrick for Wolfsburg against CSKA - is that the writing on the wall for Ramos' men?
Sorry, I'll get my coat.

I didn't see it - honestly.
Who was it that said it? I do hope my comedy is at the same level as Geoff Stelling as opposed to someone like Paul "struggling to string a sentence together" Merson.

No it was one of God's understudies, unlucky, don't know the guy's name, don't need to, there is only one SKY soccer genius, does well on countdown I believe, but then he would.

Betfred have now extended the number of games for which you can choose from and now include the 1st and 2nd Divisions as well as the Championship and Premiership.
Same odds as stated in an earlier post.
I stated that each match is not individually priced but they are even though the prices dont appear on the coupon itself as was informed by one of their counter staff that the 9/1 for 4 matches is in fact a minimum payout.
Not too sure how they can get away with this as with most things the price must be shown for you to have a bet. Not complaining as i think the odds are quite good. (imo)

Hills have a similiar coupon out now ,will both teams score? Check the two firms prices for the value bet ,Hills were advertising last week on the number of teams prices that were better than the bald utd fans ones.

Will do.
Dont really like Hills that much.
Usually very stingy on the early morning prices and dont offer half the concessions Betfred does ie GSP, treble the odds on 1 winner on a Lucky 15 etc etc

Not in the one by where i work.
They dont give anything above the norm, not even best odds!!!!!
Will have to disagree with you Owlie, each to their own, Hills always comes bottom in my list of high street bookies.

The best bookie is the one with the best price 99/100. However 365 do offer a very polished service which more often than not leaves me feeling like I've had a great consumer experience.

Thought i would have a stab at this today, as i feel there are a few games this weekend with plenty of goals in them:
Portsmouth v Tottenham
Ipswich v Swansea
Crewe v Port Vale
Dagenham v Bradford
All prices 4/5, get back £104.98 for a tenner if it comes up.
Quite like the idea of this coupon
Cheers

Hi MTV. I also noticed the betfred website says minimum odds 9/4 ect. I saw on todays Betfred site that tomorrows games are all priced 4/5 for Goals Galore, which works out right. I am guessing they get away with it by pricing the odd game at bigger than 4/5 and I will check the coupons over the weeks ahead.

I have got to the bottom of this. Betfred do an enhanced odds section. It is on the official coupon. Incidentally I checked all the premiership results, the number of games where both sides score is indeed 50 against 40. 4/5 per match seems like the true odds. It will be interesting to see how this works long term, and in all divisions.

i predict this 4/5 minimum odds will be retracted before long.

Indeed Acca. I wonder how much was lost on the European games Tuesday when all teams scored.

I do like this coupon - makes for a far more enjoyable Saturday not worrying who scores for a change, and just ticking the teams off my list as and when they score. Means that even coming down to the last few minutes of games, you can still be in with a realistic shot at getting a return.
Anyway, decided the bet for me to do each week is a perm - any 4 and all 5 - pick a game from each of the 4 main English Leagues and a game from Scotland. Not to level stakes - i prefer betting slightly more on the 4 folds than the accumulator (direct more of my cash at the event more likely to get a return) so 4 out of 5 will return double my stake money, 5 out of 5 makes me a happy bunny!
This week:
Burnley v Wigan
Peterborough v Scunthorpe
Gillingham v Charlton
Notts County v Crewe
Rangers v Hibernian
Cheers

Hit the bar - 8 out of 10 teams scored - really thought Scunthorpe would at least have scored away at Peterborough, Crewe was always dodgy but felt with Dario back in charge we would play more of an attacking game.
On reflection, I think the thing to do with this bet is to pick games where you feel the away team will win - i never thought for a minute Crewe would win, so really i was betting on them losing 2-1, 3-1 or 3-2 or drawing 1-1. Similarly with Hibernian, whilst i got it right, my feeling all along was that they might sneak a draw, which they did. With both picks, i've picked teams where i thought they might sneak something - i need to pick teams who i think would be disappointed not to win. (if that makes sense)
Next week, i'll do the same perm, but it will be teams i think should win away from home.
You live and learn i suppose!
Cheers

Thanks Sharmadal - makes the pub interesting today!
Leicester made me wait mind you - 4 minutes into time added on at the end of the game! But that is the appeal of this coupon for me - the coupon is only down when the final whistle blows - if i'd backed Leicester in a normal line, coupon would have been in the bin long before then
Unlucky with Boro - seem to be creating the chances, just not scoring!
Cheers

I got lucky - placed a cover bet on Man Utd v Chelsea game - Betfair went 4/5 both teams to score, 11/10 both teams dont score - i stuck half my potential winnings on the 11/10 both teams dont score market.
Meant i could watch the game not giving a $hit on the outcome - so glad i did that, as the game was utter pants.
At the end of the day, it's all about making a profit - the key is not to get too greedy
Cheers
