Hatton vs PacquiaoGuineas in the afternoon followed by a lot of drinking followed by Hatton v Pacquiao, a great day in prospect.
Decided to get involved in this market whilst there's funds in the account and before the nationwide gamble on The Hitman can gather pace, really looking forward to this one.
£20 Hatton knockout @ 15/4 (Sportingbet)
£10 Hatton points @ 6/1 (Sportingbet)
£6 Hatton rounds 4-6 @ 12/1 (Bet365)
£7 Hatton rounds 7-9 @ 11/1 (Bet365)
Pacquiao has never had a fight at this weight before and The Hitman is booming with Floyd Snr. by his side, that's enough for me to get involved. I'll never forget leaving an Ian Brown gig at Manchester Central (formely the G-Mex) on the night Hatton was fighting Mayweather, literally everyone booming out 'There's only one Ricky Hatton', reverberating through the venue, amazing experience.
And here it is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRIBDGz6mZk

I think Manny is the best fighter in the world just now.
But that's just me.
Best of luck

agree about Pacquio being the best at the moment but Hatton seems to have found a new spring in his step under Mayweather, i wouldn't want to call this as it will be so close.

This will be a cracker for sure. Would obviously love to see Hatton triumph, but just can't see it myself. Manny, like Mayweather, will outbox Ricky I fear.
Great fight in prospect, though . . . .

Watched last night sky sports pre view and they were all firmly in the Hatton camp that he can pull it off,not so sure myself and the big money has been on the Pacman,a 7.2 k bet was put on the pac man with billys biggest for Hatton only a grand, probably Rickys uncle.
One thing is sure both fighters will be giving it their all right from the first bell and it will be all action ,bth fighters have excellent knock out records so the safest and value bet imo ,is the fight to last fewer than 11 rounds.
Recommended bet
2.5 pts Fight to last fewer than 11 rounds 5/6 bet365,totesport.

Anyone got access to odds on Pacman to win by K.O or points?

Cheers for that, VS.
Think I'll be going for Pacman on points. Very unpatriotic I know, but will not mind losing that bet in the event (unlikely IMO) that Hatton triumphs ....

Completely fooled him there, done him with the right hook early and when he leaned away from the right, BANG, left hook, see ya later.

Agreed, Pacquiao was always going to be too quick and Hatton is vey one dimensional. At the end of the day he cant fight boxers and thats shown in the 2 biggest fights oif his life.... both where he has ended up looking pretty foolish.

Any idea what is was for less than 6? That was my prediction

Wouldn't surprise me if Hatton retired now, he's really proved all he can prove, it just looks as though he's a very good fighter but not the worlds best.

Yes he doesn't seem to have the skills to turn the fight to his advantage. He got beat by Manny because he couldn't stop him from coming out of the blocks quickly and Mayweather from dictating the fight over many rounds. His record is still something to be proud of though.

Well that was a disappointing end to a great day, gotta hold your hands up and say wow, completely outclassed and took to bits in 2 rounds. Retirement surely beckons.
