How we operate the warnings/ban systemGeneral Info :
People dont just get banned unless it`s serious. The first step to constant infringements of the guidelines is a gentle reminder. If that doesnt work we send a warning. If that doesnt work, we send a final warning.
Even people on final warnings have still had several chances, if whats taken place isnt too bad.
Eventually though, enough is enough.
1) We dont like having to send PM`s
2) We dont like giving warnings
3) We dont like giving final warnings
4) We dont like banning people...
5) We would rather enjoy the boards than deal with this crap
6) No one, except Mods/Admin and the posters concerned knows whats gone on before.
There is no way we can, or will, differentiate between someone who has posted once, or someone who has posted a thousand times. Someone who is popular, or someone who isnt. Warnings ect are kept confidential, so i can see how some of you think it may seem harsh, not knowing the full picture.
If people would act grown up and stop the snide comments insults and swearing then life would be good. Its your choice to use the boards, all we ask if please try and follow the guidelines. Failure to do so constantly just gives everyone grief.

Hi Paddy. Thanks for your opinion. I'm not as active a mod as Alan, FF, Jenny, Westmead etc but I think I speak for all Mod's & admin when I say we welcome polite, constructive criticism. If you think we are too strict that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Personally I can see why you habve come to that conclusion but when signing up to this forum, there is a list of Forum Rules. To be honest with you these rules are broken all the time and a lot of the time we turn a blind eye but there does come a time when enough is enough.
On the swearing front, I'm not the sort of chap who gets easily offended but at the same time, there are nearly 500 members of this forum and some of them may be.

No it was Ant, I checked the IP..... Its cool though as both Ip`s are now banned.
