Rules as follows. Heats start next Wednesday 6/08/08 i think.

1) Everyone has six £200 bets.

2) Each dog can be win or part E/w no more than £200 per dog

3) Prices can be anything found on odds checker, and each person is responsible for getting the place part right.

4) Any E/w bets not marked will be assumed to be 1/4 odds 1,2,3 4.

5) Three bets to be placed before the start, the other three can be placed at any time before the quarter final. ( Last 24 )

6) Anyone wishing to join after the start can do so, but will only get the three bets.

I am open to rules suggestions prior to the first bet being placed.

Doubts persist about Loyal Honcho and Toosey Blue. I am guessing both were entered as there is still a week for them to recover. No sign of Ninja Jamie though. Maybe someone will tip Tyrur Rhino at big odds for both the semi and the final, like last year

So much for my wide runners theory. Kilkenny Lonjack broke well but was badly baulked and finished sixth. This dog is becoming expensive to follow but i will keep the faith.

No real shocks yesterday, that i can see. The biggest shocks to go out were Kinkenny Lonjack and Krytptonite. Loyal Honcho won his heat last night, which bodes well. I will try and post the draw for the next round later.

Isnt it always the same, i have Express Ego and Tyrur Laurel in my Ante Post bets, and they clash in heat two ! The highlt facncied Mid Wets blue is one of four wide runners in heat seven, so Fallons dog Bar the Devil has a squeak of qualifying again, if he breaks well from the one box. Killahan Panter hasnt got the easiet draw from trap six, in heat five either.
