Cant say his defensive partner Skrtel is playing too well at the moment either..

I think the guys is a very important part of the team. Perhaps out of form but he will recover as will the team as they improve into the season.
The team itself is playing more open than most seasons imo and therefore he has been left exposed, especially in 1on1 situations where his defensive partner is out of sahpe.
I lost count how many times Skrtel left him to go wondering into midfield yesterday chasing the attacker on the half way line when the ball was going into their half anyway!
Perhaps he has lost it but he definetly had it regardless of some peoples opinions of him. I only wish we could have had more like him in the team down the years, the hard graft he has put in has been immense.
There have been some many performances but the Istanbul one in particular springs immedialty to mind, some of the block and tackles definetly helped lift that trophy!
