Louis Saha

It doesn't matter what happens in the rest of this game, Saha has just scored a goal that if Rooney or Torres had scored, we woul dnever see the end of it.

Its a shame his career has been scarred with injury after injury, because when fit, he is farr too good for Everton. Luckily, Moyes took another punt on him and it seems to be working.

Was it that special a goal? Looked like poor defending to me and a straightforward finish.

When fit, he is a decent player though.

In my opinion, it was the speed of thought that made it a decent goal. The top players anticipate mistakes, and punish them.

Again though, no worries with our team and players being consistently under the radar.

I thought it was poor defending, reasonably well taken goal. Nothing special really.

The point of my original post was more to do with him as a player, rather than the goal itself, but never mind....

Fair enough but your opening sentence suggested otherwise.

Sod it, lets just forget it and we'll judge players as good when Sky tell us so

If he was consistently fit, he would be at a Champions League team, and Ferguson would never have let him go. Yes, he would be too good for us, but I am bloody glad we have him.

Would anyone else like to criticise this thread?

Could you imaghine the praise if Rooney or Torres had scored the flick that Crouch scored in midweek! That was a class goal.

I was having the same conversation with Papa on Sunday.
The number of players on a good run who are notching in the 1st goal.
Agbonlahor, Saha, Bent, Torres.
Darren i think you are right. Saha is playing out of his skin, dont know about being too good for Everton though. Now his head is in the right place, Everton are reaping the benefits
