Mods (Fallon Facta)Just a quick one....We have been through this before, If it is a tip, info from a yard etc... and not a personal selection then I was told before it is ok to set up a new thread as to bring more attention to it an for it to stand out as a tip and not just a selection????

To be fair there is a bit more to it than that.
The general feeling is that we don't want tips getting lost in the general days racing discussion topic - when you posted there wasn't one and you could of easily started with the tip but you didn't. Maybe that is due to you not being a regular user of the forum.
We do appreciate posting your tips if they are genuine and locking and moving your tip does not mean we do not appreciate it.
Hope you understand.

very quiet day's racing; a genuine bit of info; others didn;t follow it as a thread for the day which isnt the posters' fault
As an example I looked at the page today with no interest at all in today's poor fare but read the thread wich showed a tip, and on the strength of it recovered m denman loss from yesterday.
all in the eye of beholder, I know, but on a quiet day I want to see tips highlighted - and no-one else had posted a sausage about the days racing

A quiet days racing is the reason I locked the thread. Do we need 2 threads on a day with one meeting? I didn't think so.
It was the 2nd post on the main thread - and I didn't delete the original post so that was always on show - and as you say you didn't miss out on the tip because of anything I did! I'd be amazed if anyone missed it.
Glad you won Geordie - I really can't see that there is much to complain about.

Personally I never back Tips that are put up on here but I think the way FF did what she did is the best way i.e people put a seperate thread for a Tip then it gets locked AND moved to the days racing thread that way people can see the tip easily and then make comments after the horse has run on the daily thread.
