Monday 2nd NovemberHow was Trenchant allowed to go off at that price, he's obviously the class act in the field.

Vamos will hopefully win again in the 3:15 as this is a weaker race than he won last time, he is just a bit quirky so things would need to go right again

Anyone see the 305 at Kempton, I was listening on the phone and backed Pasco, he sounded like he was doing ok, would he have won?
Cheers

He certainly would of given the fav a lot to think about and was travelling probably just the best, would of been close.

Shillingstone won well in the 3.40 at Kempton. He also won an amature Hunter Chase at Exeter last pring and was only beaten a nose by the useful Mr Ed. I think he is one to keep an eye on. The same can be said for Leyte Gulf who wonn well on the flat in the 4.50. This looks like one to keep an eye on on the AW this winter.

I know, gutted cos I couldn't get away from work
When I went to Alan King's yard with Elite, Trenchant had Very Promising's headcollar on - VP's lad works for Alan and always puts it on his favourite charge - so I made a note to follow him this season...

i went to Kempton today. Decent meeting, very small crowd.
Bitterly disappointed by Bouggler, really never in it. Probably wont give up on him just yet....
Like others cant believe the price Trenchant went off at. Thats twice now i've seen Trenchant win at Kempton without being on - at 16/1 and 20/1
Like Minded won as easy as you like, but didn't beat much
Duc De Regniere was flattered. I reckon Pasco would have been in with a serious chance if staying in the race. Was going much better than DDR at the time. I had backed Battlecry a mistake I will never repeat.....
Midnight Haze was the most impressive winner of the day for me, Shillingstone looks like one to follow, was pushed hard but won nicely in the end
two winners and a place - went home slighly down though.
Sandown on Sturday though...........
