Not sure how many NASCAR fans we have on this forum(I don't think many ) but thought I'd start a thread to see how far I get.
Daytona500 tonight. Let's hope the rain stays away or it could be a late night for us NASCAR fans in Britain.
Normally I don't bet on Motorsport as it's usually quite unpredictable and when it isn't(ie The Schumacher years in F1) the odds are laughable.
However, Stan James are going E/W first 4 in the Daytona and Tony Stewart, who starts 5th, has to have a hell of a chance surely? 18/1 is a very tempting price.
Anybody else having a bet?

Race declared over with 48 laps left to run due to rain. Well done Matt Kenseth. Tony Stewart finishes 8th but if the race had have gone on the full 200 laps I think I would have been in the money. He was looking good!

watch it a few times but it baffles me with things like the "lucky dog".usually the last 30 or so laps are worth watching
