Once again we turn to SkyTv and try and make a profit. The dismal form of my selections doesnt read too good. I have been tempted, but refrained, from trying to blast my way out of trouble. I take a bit of heart in that the other column is making a profit.
So upwards and onwards, and today its upwards (Everywhere is upwards from where i live) To Manchester and the original Theatre of Dreams, Belle Vue. Tonight sees the final of the Betfred Laurels at 9.45. Boherna on Air will be hard to beat in trap one, and in my view is a worthy jolly at 11/8 with Bet365. Five of the six dogs can start quickly, although BOA is the most consistent at the traps.
BOA in trap one starts quickly and runs better from the one box in my view. Today should be perfect as he has a slower dog alongside, and the three dog moves to the middle to wide, from the traps. Bohernas best in trap four beat BOA back in August at Monmore ( forget what but it was the ladbrokes final of something or other ) BOA was drawn wide that day and went off at odds on meeting all sorts of trouble and finishing out of the places. The five dog is the slowest starter in the field, and i suspect will meet trouble at the first bend. That said, if he misses the break by too much and there is trouble, i would love to be on him as he finishes so well. The six dog starts fast but tends to run wide and lose ground. So for me, its the jolly old jolly to do the bizz.
Backing old favoutes at odds on is the quick way to the poor house, but Bubbly Totti runs from trap six and the 9.10 and shouldn`t get beat. The prince formerly known as Droopys Totti, until bought by the Champagne owners club, deserves to be 8/11 with Betfred and i can see him being shorter come race time.

Update....Bubbly Totti won again, but Boherna Ob Air missed the break completely and then met trouble.
