Tonight takes us to Yarmouth for the East Midland Greyhound Derby at 9.45. Charlie Lister has won this event seven times, and again holds the aces with Ninja Jamie However, i am not sure this is so cut and dried.
Jamie is drawn in trap two, Legal Major in trap one heads for the middle, Movealong Blue in trap three heads for the rails. Jamie has been known to miss the break, and could struggle to get clear. Jamie is strong enough to win, even if getting bumped. I am not sure he will hold of the late challenge of Droopys Carvalho in trap six, unless he gets a clear run though. For that reason alone, i am going to take a chance with Droopys, who is 11/4 with Betfred
The whole card is littered with some good dogs, including Bubbly Kate. Lenson Express clashes with Toosey Blue and Judicial Ace, i cant split the three and would back Toosey Blue as he is the biggest price. Lenson Joker also goes and is up against Fear Robben, who may be past his best, but can still give the odds on Lenson a scare.

9.45 Droopys Carvalho 4 points win @ 11/4 with Betfred.
I think the running total is minus 40.17 so i need a winner.

Well the old running total was worse than i thought. Minus 47.13.
Last nights loss was 4 points and the new total is -51.13. Not good but only a point a week down, on average.
Luckily the other column is ahead.
Edits to add......Charlie boy had Ninja Jamie spot on, Jamie blasted clear and broke the track record. Oh what might have been for the Derby !
