Chester 15.35
GREEN MANALISHI
+ He has very strong Course and distance form, and a lot of horses simply do not act around the tight track.
+ He has had two runs to blow away the cobwebs and strip race fit for tomorrow.
+ Would appear to have an excellent draw in 2 of 10
+ Market principles Borderlescott and Oldjoesaid look to be undesirably drawn in 9 and 10 respectively.
+ 5 furlongs around Chester could be on the sharp side for the paper favourite Borderlescott.
+ Hoh Hoh Hoh needs an end to end gallop and he may not be guaranteed to get this tomorrow. In addition, he has a poor win ratio (3/33 on the turf) and looks more of a place prospect tomorrow.
+ Kevin Ryan's horses seem to be in fine fettle so there shouldn't be any worry regarding the stable form.
+- I am not a fan of Eddie Ahern racing on the turf, but I have to say he has a fine record around Chester, so hopefully he won't hinder the horse's prospects!
+ Green Manalishi's style of running tends to really suit around Chester (often suits front runners or those who like to be up in the van), he likes to either 'Track Leaders' or 'Chase Leaders' then hit the front a furlong out and go for home. I fully expect Mr Ahern to adopt these tactics tomorrow.
- The potential of soft ground probably wouldn't play to Green Manalishi's strengths but he can cope well enough on it and judging by the race times tonight over 5 furlongs at Chester, it doesn't appear to be too testing. The forecast is generally dry for tomorrow, so I do not envisage the ground being a great concern;

ROLY BOY
I am a big fan of the aforementioned horse. He is a big scopey type who will improve with racing and age. Richard Hannon has won this race 3 times in the previous 7 years and although he runs 3 runners in this race tomorrow, Roly Boy is clearly the pick for me.
It depends what price he is, the owners are known for backing their horses off the board as they like a bet so I fully expect this horse to be well backed in tomorrow. If he were to be under 2/1 then I wouldn't even consider backing him. I don't think his price will get anyway near the RP forecast price of 7/2, but I may have a small interest if he were to be around 5/2 or bigger.

Regards to all.
