SetantaCould be off the air in 48 hrs .Im a worried man ,will miss it specially the golf.
Most sports betters will miss it ,then theres the staff ,worrying times.

It just goes to show how difficult it is to compete with Sky. I assume if they do go under Sky will pick up their sports coverage at a knock down price.

my friend's fighting in vegas on the 20th as part of the final card for the ultimate fighter 9. it was due to be aired on setanta. gutted i won't be able to watch it.
was gonna go and watch him live but my girlfriend wasn't over the moon about me spending a couple of grand on a lads' weekend. i had planned on a crate of cold ones and setanta to compensate...

I don't have Setanta as it was a subscription too far.Not the money but the principle.
And yes I particularly miss the US golf and would welcome it back on Sky.

i'm gutted for the reason that i'll miss all the ufc fights. Ufc 99 on sat then ufc 100 in july gutted.
acca virgin have been showing uf9 on sundays b4 sentata so they could show the finale as well? who knows?

I read that RUK will survive on it's own, which is great, as a Virgin tv subscriber the main reason for me switching from SKY was because Setanta was free as aposed to £13 on Sky, with them going bust I think it's time to pick up the phone and see what compensation I will be receiving in terms of free stuff otherwise I'll be back to SKY.

they have the rights to the programme but not to the live card finale unfortunately. a few of my mates are going to watch so i might just get them to have me on the phone with live commentary

I read somewhere that even if Sentata do survive the contract with RUK is up in March 2010,and its unlikely to be renewed.

I don't have Setanta for the reasons that Awaywardlad has stated. However, I would like to know(if any of you could tell me) whether Sky are likely to get the Bundesliga & Le Championnat which have almost tempted me into Setanta at times. Also the US College football would be brilliant(but doubt Sky would be interested in that )
