SIR LUDOVIK KENNEDY RIPhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8314778.stm
Death of a genuinely great man; a sufficiently powerful sense of justice to campaign in the face of hostility for the release of the fitted-up Birmingham 6; a sufficently powerful sense of fun to interview Jim Hacker on "Yes Minister" and be part of the humour.
Not many of his ilk around these days.

I think usually it's only in hindsight that people become 'legendary' or whatever word you want to use. I'm sure when Kennedy was around lder people were reminiscing about people 'back in the day' and saying there aren't many of that ilk around these days blah blah blah
