The End Of The DecadeIs this really only a few weeks away 
Standing on the Thames watching the fireworks in 1999 for the new milenium does not seem like 10 years ago. In my head it still feels like about 2003. Maybe because ive not done much of interest since then.
This is thouroughly depressing.

Have to say, i opened this thread thinking 'what the hell is this about'!
I've only just clicked that it is indeed nearly 10 years since the end of the 90s.
Of interest in the decade - i started going out with my wife (then girlfriend obviously) in March 2000. Also, sold my 1 bedroom flat, purchased in the 90s, and bought a 3 bedroom house. I stopped getting wasted as well - my last real blow out was watching the eclipse in Cornwall in 1999. Attended my first (and second) Cheltenham Festivals, a lifelong sporting ambition. Thats about it.
I too feel as if i havent done much of interest - I guess this is the decade i grew up.
I am happy though

I was there then lenahan. Ahh that was a wobbly day night day then night again. I lived walking distance of waterloo back then. It's scary to think how fast time flies.

First job (& second), first house (& second), married, had first child.
Lost 2 x grandparents closely followed by losing my Mum.
I guess this is the decade I grew up too!!!!
Wonder what the 10s have in store?
