The Pride StakesCrystal Capella has to be a very good bet if she defects from the Champion and runs in this race, she was a tad unlucky in running in the L'Opera last time, she ws just looking for room and got badly checked. She is a mare that has one wind up run and this course should suit her perfect, if she runs in this I make her a maximum bet.

Agree completely. Travelled like a dream at Longchamp and was out-paced without a particularly good passage.
Form with Dar Re Mi in the spring (carrying a penalty) looks pretty blinking good now eh?

I think Dar Re Mi will take on Conduit in the BCT so the form must be very strong.. Lets hope we can get a good price as it could be xmas come early.

I read that Conduit may not be running in the Breeders Cup Turf, Corals suspended betting on the market. Not sure what's happening!

It's apparently "a rumour" - but how often do such rumours prove to be true? The Arc was only just over a week ago, and some consequences of hard races only show up over a period of time. I think I heard or saw something about this yesterday when I was at Ffos Las, but can't pin the source down.

He's all fine and well TGS, just rumours apparently!
On a side note the last race on Champions Day, Jockey Club Cup, looks very weak!

Sir Michael Stoute has confirmed there to be no current problems with Conduit despite rumours about his well-being.
The winner of the this year's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes is being aimed at back-to-back triumphs in the Breeders' Cup Turf but drifted in the betting with some firms during the day.
Conduit was most recently seen finishing fourth to Sea The Stars in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
"We are not aware of any problems with Conduit," the trainer said.
"He was just a bit colicky on Friday night but it has settled down and he has cantered since."

Crystal Capella roughly 5/2 on Betfair, is this not the best bet of the whole year!!

Just been having a glance at this race...need to have a ponder and a proper look. First thoughts were yes agreed Crystal Cappellas to throw away. But favourites have an appalling record in this over the last 10-15 years with Ouja Board (a class apart) being the only one to oblige if you forget the year head in the clouds won when there was only 4 runners. Dont really like these price stats but sometimes they are are there with good reason (not saying this is the case for this race as i dont know).
Surely Ave couldnt beat the stable mate could she ? Would Ryan moore have had a choice as to which stoute runner he is on or would he be contracted to ride CC over ave regardless? anyone help me ?
Arwaah is open to improvement but how much ? Shes not ran at group level before which is a big negative for this but then Tregoning had alot of his horses out of running earlier this year due to stable bug which may apply to mawthawweeq in the Champions stakes as well. Maybe hasnt therefore had the runs she would have had otherwise so could perhaps ignore that stat for both her and mawtheeq.
Ashalanda bugs me. Alain Royer Dupre has sent over two runners for saturday. Her in this and Alpine Rose in the Champion.Which is his better chance? Hes great with fillys, is in form having a good arc and doesnt send them overseas for fun. Shes in the aga kahns colours and we see how many of them went in during the arc meet I cant see him not getting at least a place from his runners and youd expect at least one to go close! Alpine rose looks outclasssed in the champion so maybe this is the one he is aiming to win in the race named after one of his most recent stable stars. Or is she just running because the race is named after one of his former stars ?
Despite that they all have a bit to find with Crystal Cappella on the form book May be one ill be staying out of im not sure yet.

Wish I'd not been at a committee meeting in London last night. Never checked when I came in. Still 2.8 which is brilliant value (was evens just after lunch yesterday).
Had she not been off for a break she could have run (and come 2nd) in the Arc.
Crikey...... crikey.

The Agha Khan, Royer Dupre and Lamaire/Soumillon.....Bit of a mob arnt they. Especially with the females.
Despite that, the fact they travelled over and what i wrote earlier i didnt back her .
Unlucky as well CC backers. Was very close. Ryan maybe went too soon imo.

The RP text commentary said that the drifter AVE was given a "disgraceful" ride. What's that all about then?
